These terms cover the Telangana Runners app. They are not the terms of any particular race. Each event has its own entry terms, which you agree to when you register for it, and those continue to apply to that event.
The app is provided by Telangana Runners, a public charitable trust (Regd. No. 123/2025), 7B, Journalist Colony Road, Film Nagar, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad 500096.
Anybody can hold an account, whatever their age. A runner under 18 can sign in and see their event entry, their registration number, their bib, the expo venue and their photos. What they never get is AntiOxidant timing.
This is not a preference. Recording a run by GPS means recording where a person is, and Section 9(3) of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 prohibits tracking and behavioural monitoring of children. A parent's consent does not change it, which is why there is no way for a parent to agree to it on a child's behalf. The exemptions in the Fourth Schedule to the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 cover healthcare, schools, creches, school transport and child safety, and none of them covers a running event.
Children are welcome at our events, and many run them. What they do not get is an account that records their movements.
You sign in with your mobile number and a code sent to WhatsApp. Keep access to that number secure: anybody who can receive your codes can reach your account. Tell us if you lose it.
One account belongs to one person. Do not record a run on somebody else's behalf or under their entry.
The app records your route, distance, duration and pace using your phone's GPS, while you are recording a run and at no other time.
GPS is not perfect and we do not pretend otherwise. Buildings, trees, tunnels, weather and your phone itself all affect it. A recorded distance is a good measurement, not a certified one.
Your phone must be able to record for the whole run. If you deny location access, close the app, or your phone shuts it down to save battery, part or all of your run will be missing, and we cannot reconstruct it.
AntiOxidant is our own timing feature. It measures your run from your phone and can issue you a certificate at the finish.
It is not the official result of a chip timed race. Where an event uses a timing partner with chips and mats, that partner's result is the official one. If the two ever disagree, the timing partner's result stands.
Runners under 18 are never timed by AntiOxidant, in any distance and on any phone, for the reason given above. Age is worked out on the day of the event rather than the day of booking. If their entry carries a chip, the official result from the timing partner still reaches them in the normal way.
The app does not take payments. Registering and paying for an event happens on our ticketing platform at events.telanganarunners.com, and donations at donate.telanganarunners.com. Our refund policy explains what happens to money paid to us.

We may suspend or close an account that does these things. Where a run has been misrepresented we may withdraw the certificate issued for it.
The app, its content and its designs belong to Telangana Runners. AntiOxidant® is a registered trademark of Dr Muralidar Babi and is used by Telangana Runners with his permission. Nothing in these terms gives you any right to use it.
Your runs are yours. We store and process them to give you the features described in our privacy policy.
We provide the app as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, or that every recording will be complete and accurate, for the reasons given above.
Running carries risk. Deciding whether you are fit to run is yours and your doctor's, not the app's. The app is not a medical device and gives no medical advice. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Indian law.
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app. That page explains exactly what is removed and what we are required to keep.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the app means the updated terms apply.
These terms are governed by the law of India, and the courts of Hyderabad have jurisdiction over any dispute.
