Delete your Telangana Runners account

You can delete your account and its data at any time, from inside the app or by asking us to do it for you.

From the app

Open Telangana Runners and sign in.
Go to the Profile tab.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
Confirm. The account and its data are removed immediately.

By email

If you no longer have the app installed, email info@TelanganaRunners.com from the address on your account, or tell us the mobile number you registered with. We will delete it within 30 days and confirm when it is done.

What is deleted

Your profile — name, mobile number, email, date of birth, and emergency contact
Every run you have recorded, with its distance, time, pace and splits
Every GPS route behind those runs, deleted immediately rather than at the usual twelve months

Deleting some of your data without deleting your account

You do not have to choose between all of your data and none of it. You can ask us to remove any of these on their own, and keep your account, your entries and your results.

Every GPS route we hold, or the routes for particular runs. Your runs stay in your history with their distance, time and pace. Only the coordinates go.

How to ask

Email info@TelanganaRunners.com from the address on your account, or tell us the mobile number you registered with, and say what you want removed.

You can also delete a daily run yourself in the app: open it from My Runs and tap Delete this run.

How long we take

Within 30 days, and we confirm when it is done. Usually much sooner.

The one thing that cannot be removed on its own is your event registrations and payment records, for the reason below.

What we have to keep

Event registrations and payment records. Indian tax law requires us to keep financial records for eight financial years, and your entry to an event is the record of a payment.

These are unlinked from your account, so nothing points back to a Telangana Runners profile. The records themselves remain until that period ends, after which they are deleted too.
